1, 8×8, Waterfall

fate sinks since the water can’t hold
a place, cuts the sunlight off the
ledge then bends and folds a curtain
of the flash-white hush-kick fussing
and moments like this make us trick
make us lose our rational kick
and see the things as bent in place
a fate which is just our vision.
