Note:

Hel has a bowl called Hunger, in her mansion in Niflheim. There are many beautiful illustrations of hel in nineteenth century books – you can see some on Wikipedia, but here I was thinking of Emil Dopler’s painting of fenrir, the world serpent and Hel, who sits surrounded by them as if they were her toys, her hair falling in curls, fixing her eyes on the snake.

The generator gave me this picture of the giant horned wolf, striding over his sister on the bottom right, the world serpent undulating underneath them…
